DAY 2

I remember this time last year I didn't think Jahmeir had the attention span to focus and let alone enjoy basketball, but now he's come sooooo FAR!!! This is how I know ASD disorders are do broad and that all kids are extremely different because Jahmeir is very competitive and is more outgoing when making friends now. Instead of boring you with my perspective I'll let you read from Jahmeir perspective.

8:13 pm 04/23/13

Me: So Jah How was your day

Jah: Good

Me: What was good about it?

Jah: I did my homework and I did my spelling. I can't remember the details mom I just had so much fun.

Me: What was so fun?

Jah: Playing outside was fun and fast math was fun, but we didn't have fast math today. That's all that was fun.

Jah: Its like ABC Mouse they have a lot of reading and a lot of Math and it freaks me out

Me: But we were talking about your day

Jah: Oh...yeah...okay mom I know you want a high five day.

Me: How was basketball

Jah: Good. We played games and we dribbled all around and made shots. I was the number one championship. Shamonique left me there so I just "winned" all by myself.

Me: So Jah, tell me things that you like about yourself.

Jah:( zoning out) so anyway mom. I like about myself is when I do the right thing. I like when I play my video games. You should wear popular clothes and say wassup to girls. Can we go to Tatiaye's house mom 

*Tatiaye is Jahmeir's little crush

Me: Wait what do you mean popular clothes? Why is that important

Jah: You know mom that makes you cool when you do that and say wassup to girls and listen to music.

Me: Is that all that's important?

Jah: School is important but uhhhh mom don't get all freaked out about it.

Me: LAUGHING MY BUTT OFF!!

Me: What don't you like about school

Jah: I don't like about is reading because my teacher takes too long and its getting hard. Like i know what to do when I do good reading. Mom why are you typing so fast at this night time?
